I have the transmit side working in Proton PDS for the MRF24J40 RF chip if anyone wants the sample code. There is still lots of work to do but its a start. email me at dmtulsa at cox dot net

Graham Its a bit much to post. There is a tx file rx file & and .inc file. If you email me at dmtulsa at cox dot net I'll zip it all up and sent to you.

The TX and RX code is now on the PDS site. Is there away to add attachments to post here? if so I can upload the files

Hi Doung - you can upload images by clicking on "Post Reply", and then scroll to the bottom of the page (Attachment Options).

Might be easier to zip them into one file, then upload ;)

Hi all,

I am a beginner to embedded systems, I am planning to use MRF24J40MA for my robot for wireless communication between base station and remote station. I want to control my robot from base station.Is it possible to do with this MRF24J40MA?

If so please give details about Interfacing with PIC microcontroller.

YES, is it easy NO. You must have a very good grasp of manipulating resisters and how this stuff work to use this part. I'd suggest a "Pre-made" zigbee or something that you don't need to write the stack yourself. just talk to them 232 or SPI. Ya it cost a lot more but its easy to use.
