Inception

Postby Graham » Fri Jul 23, 2010 8:15 pm

After seeing a couple of the previews, Inception grabbed my attention as a 'must see' and I kept my eye out for the local release. I watched the movie last night - all I can say is wow..

It's a delve into a concept which strikes a balance between stunning and believable. I was engaged throughout the entire film, trying to pick up every detail and snippet of information. I walked out of the cinema feeling much the same way after watching The Matrix (imagination sparkling with ideas..)

It's not going to be everyone's cup of tea - but if you like a strong storyline with complex twists and turns, then this film is likely for you.

A word of warning: don't read reviews/google this movie too much (if at all). I believe there's too much that could be taken away from the experience by doing so.. You can rest assured the 9.3/10 IMDB rating with >50,000 votes is well justified.

It might not be the 'best' family flick - but I hope they enjoy it. I'm pretty sure you'll love it though Hop

I was moved at an incredible level with the first matrix movie. Mostly by the concept alone, which is why I can't wait to see this. As far as family, Morgan (she's 12) gave no option when it came to her coming along. hehehe

You have a knack for bending my arm!

The feature has been added and now appears as a button at the top along with the others when creating a post. It's called Spoiler. Basically you can write a whole blurb, highlight it, and click Spoiler and the inserted code will format the text like so:

Spoiler:
Congratulations - you figured it out!

OK, so lets talk about the movie without spoiling it for others!

Spoiler:
What do you think of the ending!!!??? I was a little (completely) surprised and had a thousand thoughts on what lead to that outcome.. As you're seeing the movie again, I won't divulge my interpretation just yet ;)
