Code :: Blocks IDE

I'm researching Linux and PIC's now and have found that CB http://www.codeblocks.org/
combined with SDCC http://sdcc.sourceforge.net/
works with PIC's and Linux using C, I have not actually tried but Docs seem OK, I'm looking for a Basic compiler so will update if I find anything useful.
I may find it easier, and alot quicker to become proficient in C :D

BTW: I'm trying to avoid Wine, or anything similar. Wine is better with women, not compilers :o
